Mission

It's so much bigger than age differences.

As a full-service senior needs provider and a dedicated youth education and mentorship faciliator, we endeavor to enable our Elders to maintain independent, fulfilling lives and to redirect and reinforce positive life choices in adolescents. Thus, meeting the needs of two of society's most underserved populations and mending the breach.

Challenge

In a society where the population of persons 65 and above is expected to double to 1.8M by 2030, and the likelihood of urban adolescents being arrested or coming from broken homes continues to sky-rocket, little is being done to impart of the wisdom of our maturing citizenry into the impressionable and vulnerable lives of our youth.

Solutions

In John 19 one of Jesus' last seven words on the cross was entrusting the care of his mother to the disciple he loved.

If Jesus took forethought in arranging for the care of His parent, shouldn't we do the same?

Shouldn't we, like Him, make it our priority to place their care in the hands of someone we love and trust, rather than rely upon "the system" to take care of it?
To whom have you entrusted the care of your parents? Is it someone who will love and cherish them?

One of the tenets on which Elderlescent Care is based is this thought, that the value of our seniors not be disregarded as our youth suffer and struggle to find "the way."
